Michael Steinkirchner, MANAGING PARTNER
After developing a highly successful network of colleagues in the short-term rental industry as a corporate recruiter, Michael entered the STR space holding roles from the ground up including Operations Specialist, Property Manager, Assistant General Manager, General Manager, Regional Market Operations Manager and Task Force Manager.
Knowing your competition is important. Michael's experience includes working for local, regional and national brands such as Vacasa, iTrip, Vtrips, SkyRun Vacation Rentals and the Margaritaville brand's first short-term rental only resort without a supporting hub hotel. His consulting work has helped launch new franchise locations of other national brands and working with others in mergers and acquisitions.
Michael has worked with many medium-sided companies including Teeming Vacation Rentals in the St. Petersburg-Clearwater Beaches market, Holiday Beach Rentals in PCB, 30A Escapes in Walton County, GoodNight Stay in the Nashville market and Frontdesk, a rental arbitrage company operating in over 30 cities in the United States.
His experience also encompasses coordination between property owners and HOAs for mutual benefit. This being significantly important during his involvement with stakeholders in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael in 2018 and the resulting cooperation needed to return to normal.
Michael has also been closely involved with regulatory and government planning officials related to the short-term rental industry. He fought for the fair treatment of Short-Term Rentals to be able to reopen and operate at the earliest stages of the COVID-19 restriction periods and met with public officials to expedite reopening protocols being put in place.
Michael also served in the United States Marine Corps in various infantry and other billets.
In 2020, he became a Living Organ Donor by donating a kidney to a Metro-Nashville Police Officer from his hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
When not traveling to serve client needs, he divides his time between Panama City Beach and his native home in the Nashville area with his fiance Aly and their cat, a Maine Coon mix named Moxie. They also regularly visit his ownership properties in Kissimmee (Orlando) and Indian Shores, Florida.
When not working and continuing to educate himself on the industry, he enjoys swimming in the ocean and is an avid motorcyclist.
